How To Instal Windows 7 With Using USB Drive

For you that have a laptop/netbook but don't have any DVD Drive, right now I will share you about how to instal W7 by USB drive. The advantage of instaling W7 with using USB Drive is the instalation process more faster than use DVD Drive. But the weakness, it needs an editing and put many scripts in Command Prompt Program. But it is not the problem. This below the steps:

Step 1:
Prepare the USB Drive 4 GB, a netbook/laptop, a laptop that has a DVD Drive and Windows 7 DVD.

Step 2:
Plug USB Drive into your laptop USB slot. (I suggest you to backup your datas before, because the datas will be deleted)


Step 3:
Open Command Prompt by hold on keyboard "WINDOWS FLAG+R", type keyword "cmd" and then click "OK".

Step 4:
On Command Prompt window, type "DISKPART" and press "ENTER"

Step 5:
Type "LIST DISK" and then will appear all of the drive in your laptop. Look the size from each drive to know which one your USB Drive and your Hardisk. On my laptop, the size of Disk 0 is 111 GB (Hardisk) and the size of Disk 1 is 3856 (it is meaning the USB Drive is 4 GB).


6. Type this below command step by step:

SELECT DISK 1 press Enter
CLEAN press Enter
CREATE PARTITION PRIMARY press Enter
SELECT PARTITION 1 press Enter
ACTIVE press Enter
FORMAT FS=NTFS press Enter

Please wait till 100 completed, type "EXIT" and press "ENTER"

Step 7:
Minimize Command Prompt window

Step 8:
Enter Windows 7 DVD into DVD drive (remember the drive letter DVD drive and your USB drive. On my laptop, (Drive F is Windows 7 DVD and Drive G is my USB Drive).

Step 9:
Maximize the last Command Prompt window, type this below command step by step:

F:CD BOOT and press enter (F is my Windows 7 DVD drive)
CD BOOT press enter
BOOTSECT.EXE /NT60 G: press enter (G is my USB Drive)

Step 10:
Close the Command Prompt window

Step 11:
Copy all files from Windows 7 DVD into your last USB Drive.

Now your USB Drive has been already used to instal Windows 7.
